Autumn Birthday

I'm so glad my birthday is in October because now I have an excuse to also welcome fall with a party and include as much autumn-y things as possible. It was the greatest day with perfect weather for an outdoor gathering and making s'mores. We played a few games including this one ( even though it's more suitable for Easter). It resulted in glitter EVERYWHERE! In my bed, all over my sheets, in the bathroom, in our hair. I even spotted quite a few sparkles in the garage (we played in the backyard). It was all good fun.

I was in a wedding a few months ago (May) and I finally get to see the pictures from the wedding day. Too bad my internet is being painfully slow right now, guess I'l have to check back later.

All wound up

Besides cell phone pics I haven't really  posted anything. That's because in the process of moving I lost the camera charger. It was so frustrating, there were gazillion different boxes. Now that we're more settled in, I was determined. I looked high and low, in every nook and cranny and I finally found it! I missed that lil baby.

Today, moma cut open a watermelon and lo and behold it turned out to be albino! It tastes like a regular watermelon, so I put it right back (not a fan). Still looks kinda cool, yea?
